Terms and Conditions

Terms for USA and Canadian Customers differ from the International clients.

Driver's Age
The minimum driver’s age is 21 years . No young driver fee will be applied.
The maximum driver’s age is 85 years old. No Senior driver fee will be applied.

Ages 21–25: Full Coverage Loss Damage Waiver is not offered.
Renters in this age group must purchase Deductible Coverage that will cost 11 USD to 17 USD per day depending on the car group. [This applies for all USA, Canadian and International Clients]. 

Additional Drivers
Additional drivers are allowed for a fee of 5 USD per day. All additional drivers must meet the same license and age requirements as the main driver. 

Driver’s License
Driver must present a full and valid driving license that should be valid with no major endorsements, and at least 1 year of driving experience is required.
An International Driver’s License (IDL) is mandatory only if the domestic license is not in the Roman/English alphabet and must be accompanied by the original domestic license of the driver.
Drivers from the US, Canada, and Australia do not need an IDL. 

Insurance Coverage

Theft Waiver (THW)
Theft Waiver is included in the rental rates and limits the renter’s financial responsibility in case of theft or loss of the vehicle.
Deductible: USD 3,000.00
For USA and Canadian citizens, the deductible does not apply. Renters are fully liable for any damage unless valid credit card insurance is provided. Online broker-provided insurance is not accepted. If no proof of coverage is presented, insurance must be purchased at the time of pickup.

Third-Party Liability (TPL)
Third-Party Liability is included in the rental rates and provides coverage for:
Bodily injury/death: up to USD 6,000,000
Property damage: up to USD 300,000 per accident

Insurance Options

Deductible Coverage Option (price varies by vehicle class)
- Covers damages to rental vehicle, with a $3,000.00 deductible. In the case of damages to the rental vehicle, hirer is required to pay up to a total of $3,000.00. This Option also covers 3rd-Party vehicle/property damages up to $300,000 and 3rd-Party bodily injury up to $6,000,000 per accident.

Full-Coverage Option (price varies by vehicle class):
- Covers damages to car rental vehicle during the course of the rental contract. This Option also covers 3rd-Party vehicle/property damages up to $300,000 and 3rd-Party bodily injury up to $6,000,000 per accident.

Customers may purchase additional coverage at the rental desk:
Full Coverage: from USD 17.95 – 23.95 per day, depending on vehicle category. If purchased, the deposit is reduced to USD 100.
For USA and Canadian Citizens, deductible insurance is available.

Important Notes:
USA and Canadian citizens must have valid auto insurance linked to their credit card with a minimum liability limit of USD 80,000. If not, they must purchase insurance at the rental desk.
Online insurances are not accepted. In the event of damage, customers will be charged the full repair cost and must claim reimbursement from their provider.

Age Policy
21–25 years: Full Coverage Loss Damage Waiver is not available. Renters must purchase Deductible insurance Coverage at the counter.
26–85 years: Full Coverage Loss Damage Waiver is available.
For any other coverage options, please consult with the rental office. 

Important Notice:

1. In the event of an accident, theft, fire, or any damage to the vehicle, the renter must immediately notify both the police (or the competent local authority) and the rental agency. An official accident or incident report issued by the relevant authority, together with any required insurance documentation, must be provided to the rental agency. Failure to obtain and submit these documents will result in the insurance coverage being void. Whenever possible, the renter should not leave the vehicle unattended and must wait for authorized assistance.

2. If an accident, theft, or damage occurs in a rural or remote area, the renter must provide a formal statement at the nearest police station or other competent local authority. All documentation issued by the authority, including any official statement or report, must be submitted to the rental agency. Submission of these documents is mandatory for insurance coverage to be valid and effective.

3. Vandalism damages, tow truck and road assistance due to negligence is not included.

4. Insurance does not cover damages of any type caused by driving through beaches, mangroves, and flooded roads or off-road, this will void any insurance coverage and customers would be responsible for damages.

5. No coverage covers if the driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the event.

6. No coverage applies when a rented vehicle is driven by an unauthorized driver.

7. Coverage does not cover vandalism damage, glass damage, flat tires, wheels, keys or accessories. In the event that the damage is caused by factors other than a collision with another vehicle, THE CUSTOMER must assume full responsibility for the damage to the rented vehicle.

8. Damages caused to the inside of the vehicle, including upholstery of the car, loss of car’s keys or documents, license plates, emergency kits are not included in the insurance. Charges apply according to the cost of repair or replacement, as assessed.

9. The renter and any additional drivers are absolutely liable for any loss or damage to the rental vehicle, even when the loss or damage is caused by a third party or in the event the cause is unknown, whether because of theft, collision, vandalism or any other cause.

10. Credit card details are held on file in case of any parking violations, traffic violations, and will be authorized to charge for these reasons.
11.Does not cover damages involving driving on the Wrong Side of the Road, Please note that we (cayman islands) driving on the left side of the road.

12 Personal Items / Effects: Rental Company is not responsible for loss of personal items/ effects left in the vehicle at any time.

Vehicle Condition
You must return the vehicle in the same condition as it was in when you received it, minus the normal wear and tear. The Supplier will charge you at their own rates for any excessive staining/soiling and/or for both internal and external damage (including strong smells). You are responsible for inspecting the vehicle upon pick-up/drop-off and for the cost of any new damage found at the end of your rental period. 

Off-road driving
Off-road driving is strictly prohibited. The vehicle may only be used on paved, public roads. Any damage resulting from off-road use will not be covered by insurance and will be fully charged to the customer.

Breakdown Assistance
Breakdown assistance is available free of charge 06:00 AM to 22:00 PM.
Relevant contact details and roadside assistance procedures will be provided prior to the start of the rental.

Other Fees:

1. Airport surcharge is included on the price.

2. VERF – Vehicle Environmental Fee is not included on the price and will be charged separately 8 USD per day.

3. If the vehicle keys are lost or stolen, a fee of 500 USD will apply. In case of a lost license plate, a fee of US USD 132.61 applies.

4. You are responsible for the cost of any parking fines, tolls and other penalties incurred whilst the vehicle is contracted to you. The rental office will pass the relevant charges on to you plus any administrative expenses.

5. If the wrong fuel is used, the renter is responsible for all associated repair costs and towing service.

6. If car is returned dirty, a charge of $215 will apply.

7. Smoking in the vehicle is strictly prohibited. A fee of 150 USD will apply if smoking is detected.

Fuel Policy

Full to Full
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel at the start of the rental and must be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a fee of  11.93USD/gallon will be charged. Unused fuel is non-refundable. Fuel charges must be settled at the rental desk unless otherwise specified. Customers are advised to confirm the fuel policy at the rental counter at the time of pick-up.

Payment Methods
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Cash, Debit Card are accepted, and the card must be in the main driver’s name when paying at the rental desk.

Deposit
A security deposit of 1500 USD is required for all rentals, in case customer purchase full insurance at the time of pickup it will be reduced to 100 USD.
We do accept Debit Card and Cash Deposit but must purchase Deductible Coverage at the time of pickup and the deposit amount will be 1800 USD. 

Delivery and Collection
Delivery and collection services are not available.

Out of Hours
Out of hours services are not available. 

One Way Drop-Off Charge
One-way drop-off between three Cayman offices (Airport, Seven Mile Beach, East End) is available free of charge. Please notify the rental desk in advance for any change on the drop off location.

Cross Border Travel
Leaving the island is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in penalties.

Grace Period
For vehicle pick-up: A 2-hour grace period is allowed free of charge. After this period, the booking will be considered a no-show or a vehicle will be provided if availability allows.
For vehicle return: A 59 minutes grace period is allowed from the scheduled drop-off time. After that, a fee of $10 per hour will apply or one additional day’s rental rate (whichever is less).

Extras
Confirmation of Special Equipment depends upon the availability at the rental desk such as GPS and car seats.
